Privacy and analytics

Last updated 17 October 2026

This page explains what information CarSize uses when you visit the site or contact us. For privacy questions or requests, email hello@carsize.net.

Basic site delivery

Cloudflare hosts and delivers the site. Like other web hosts, it processes technical request information such as IP address, browser details, requested URL and time of access to deliver pages, secure the service and investigate faults or abuse. We may review service and security information for those purposes.

Google Analytics

CarSize uses Google Analytics 4 to measure visits, page views and basic interactions. Measurement starts automatically when a page loads, without a banner or an opt-in button. Google Analytics uses first-party analytics cookies to recognise visits and returning browsers. Information sent to Google may include the page and referral source, time of the visit, browser and device information, and approximate location.

Google Signals and advertising personalisation are disabled. We do not intentionally send names, email addresses or other directly identifying details as analytics event data.

Your choice

You can turn off analytics in this browser or turn it back on. We save an opt-out in your browser's local storage. It remains until you turn analytics back on or clear that browser storage. Turning analytics off stops the Google tag from loading and removes this site's analytics cookies. A previously saved refusal of analytics cookies is also respected. These choices do not delete information already collected.

Messages you send

If you email us, we use your message and contact details to answer and investigate your request. Do not send sensitive personal information unless needed. We keep correspondence only for as long as needed for the request and related records.

Providers, transfers and your rights

Cloudflare and Google may process information in countries outside your own under their applicable privacy terms and safeguards. You may be able to ask for access, correction, deletion or restriction of personal information, or object to certain uses. You can also complain to your local data protection authority. Contact us at the address above to make a request. See Google's privacy policy and Cloudflare's privacy policy for more on their processing.

Changes

We may update this page as the site or its providers change. The date below shows the current version.
